The Loop Recorder on your S4.

The recording source for the Loop Recorder can be selected via the Loop Recorder’s Source

menu in TRAKTOR. Please refer to the TRAKTOR 2 Manual for more info.

You will find in ↑12.4, FX Unit Quick Reference a Quick Reference table summing up the

basic functionality of each control element on the Loop Recorder.

6.6.1 DRY/WET Knob

The DRY/WET knob controls the mix between the main output of TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 and

the output of the Loop Recorder. As soon as some audio material recorded into the Loop Re-

corder is played back, you can blend it into your main mix.

As long as the Loop Recorder is stopped (or empty), the DRY/WET knob is disabled. Hence,

you don’t have to bother with the position of this knob as long as you’re not playing a loop

on the Loop Recorder.

6.6.2 SIZE Button

The SIZE button allows you to define the size of the loop you plan to record.
